Match Report
The school holidays left us a little short on numbers but Patrick Bannister came to our rescue and donned his kit for the second time today. It was a close game all day and we had plenty of the play but couldn’t convert as well as we would have liked. The back line was superb with Henry and Oliver repelling countless attacks and Lachie and skipper Andrew running their hearts out. We came within 4 points, kicking the first goal in the last quarter, but Cheltenham replied holding on for a 10 point victory.
Coach Rob was happy with the first up effort and congratulated the boys on their endeavor.
Final Score: Cheltenham 7 goals 6 behinds 48 pts
St Kilda city 6 goals 2 behinds 38 pts
Goal kickers: Matt Mc 2, Elijah, Sam Day, Sam Champion and Howie all 1 each.
Go City!
