Match Report
Off to Toorak for our biggest test so far this season against Prahran and they got off to a flyer not letting us score.
Thank goodness for Oliver and Charlie up back doing a top job saving us from being further down at quarter time.
Second quarter and almost 3 goals down we were starting to worry a little that we might be in big trouble, but the hole team really lifted and before you knew it we were in front by 4 points at half time. Alex Scott Max and Joel Crocker all having a big game.
A half time rest and back into it with us kicking one goal four behinds from many chances that with a bit of luck could have given us a winning lead to take into the final quarter, but a free kick in the goal square and a goal after the siren gave Prahran a one point lead at three quarter time.
With both sides desperate for a win it was Prahran who were able to get the advantage in the final term kicking 4 unanswered goals to put the game out of our reach . Andrew kicking our only goal late to see us go down by 22 points.
Bad luck guys, but such a good effort.
Go City!
